The other titles are samples. #### What is sent to the AI model The first time, the app shows you what is sent and asks for your permission. Without it, PolarGate AI stays off. To understand you, what you type goes to two artificial intelligence companies: Anthropic and OpenAI. ##### What is sent - What you type in search - Matching titles from your catalogue Anthropic (its Claude model) receives what you type and the matching titles, to answer you. OpenAI receives only the text of your search, to turn it into the vector used for searching. ##### What is not sent - Your name, your email or your playlist details Under their terms, neither company uses what you send to train its models. You can withdraw your permission at any time in Account, with “Withdraw AI Permission”. To watch anything, you need your own IPTV playlist, with Xtream details or an M3U link from your provider. PolarGate TV does not include any channels, playlists or content. Only use it with playlists you have the right to watch. Last updated: 16 October 2026 #### What you need - The app installed on your device. - An email address for your account. - Your playlist details: the Xtream server, username and password, or the full M3U link. In the app, your playlist is called a “line”: the one you get from your provider. #### Step by step The button and field names are the ones you see in the app. 1. ##### Download the app On iPhone and iPad, from the App Store; on a Mac, with its installer; and on Android, Android TV and Google TV, from Google Play. Every option is on the [Download](https://polargate.tv/en/download) page. 2. ##### Sign in with your email Type your email and tap “Sign In with a Code”. We send you a 6-digit code and, if you do not have an account yet, we create one. On iPhone and iPad you can also sign in with Apple. You can add a password later in Account. 3. ##### Choose how to add the line The first time, the “Your Line” screen opens on its own. At the top, choose “Username & Password” (Xtream) or “M3U Link”. 4. ##### Enter your provider's details With Xtream: “Server” (it starts with http:// or https://, for example http://server.com:8080), “Username” and “Password”. With M3U: the full “Link”. You can also give it a “Name”. 5. ##### Tap “Test and Save” The app tests the line before saving it. If it works, you will see “Done. We're already bringing in its catalog.” and your channels, movies and series arrive shortly after. 6. ##### It is on all your devices Sign in with the same account on your other devices and your line, favourites and My List will be there. If yours is not one, try the Xtream server, username and password from your provider. #### Your details Your line password is encrypted in transit and is not stored on the device. Each line can be on one PolarGate TV account only. #### If something does not work These are the messages the app can show when it tests your line, and what to do about each one. - **The panel says that username or password isn't valid.** Copy the details again exactly as your provider sent them, with no spaces at the start or end. - **That line is no longer active. Renew it with your provider and try again.** The line has expired. Only your provider can renew it. - **The panel isn't responding. Check the server address or try again later.** Check the server, with its http:// and its port if it has one. If it is right, your provider's panel may be down. - **That M3U link isn't from a compatible panel. Try the server, username, and password instead.** Switch to “Username & Password” at the top and use your Xtream details. - **That line is already on another PolarGate TV account.** Sign in with the account that has it, or remove it there from Account. This website charges nothing. - **The trial:** Both plans start with 7 days free if it’s your first subscription. Nothing is charged until the trial ends. - **Without a subscription:** The app needs an active subscription. Without one, you can only subscribe, restore purchases, sign out, change the language or delete your account. - **Switching plans:** Both plans are the same subscription: you switch from one to the other in the store, in the same place where you cancel. - **Renewal:** It renews automatically every month or every year. You watch what your provider gives you, with the line you get from them. **What do I need to use it?** Your playlist, with the Xtream server, username and password, or an M3U link. On a TV, with Android TV or Google TV and the remote. There is no Apple TV app for now. **Can I use the same account on several devices?** Yes. Your line, favourites, My List and where you left off follow you from one device to another. In Account > Devices Using Your Account you can see where you are signed in and sign out of any of them. **How many devices can I watch on at once?** Your line decides, not PolarGate TV. Each video you watch uses one of the connections your provider gives you, and so does each download while it comes in. If your line allows one connection, you cannot watch on two devices at once. **Can I download to watch offline?** Yes, on iPhone, iPad, Mac and Android. Downloads come one at a time, in the quality you choose (Standard, in HD, or High, in Full HD when available), over Wi-Fi or also over cellular if you turn off “Wi-Fi Only”, and are stored only on that device. They expire after 30 days, or 48 hours after you finish watching them. **What language is the app in?** English and Spanish. With Automatic, it follows your device's language; you can also pick one in Account > Language, and it is saved to your account. A few things stay in Spanish, such as synopses and the channel and category names that come from your provider. **Does it have ads?** No. **How much does it cost?** There are two plans, both with 7 days free: PolarGate TV, €2.99 a month or €24.99 a year, and PolarGate TV + AI, with PolarGate AI, €4.99 a month or €39.99 a year.
